Today...

Today I am working on more wallpapers! Hooray! I'm also digging into some of the libgdx wallpaper backend to see if I can get live previews working a little better. I think the way I was doing it before was causing some issues on peoples' devices. I'm determined to make libgdx work for wallpapers correctly!

I'm also taking a "if it's not broken, don't fix it" stance with my shader wallpapers. They will stay Rajawali forever!

Le sigh!

I give in :-(

Until I can get these libgdx wallpaper issues fixed (Hard to do) I'm reverting back to Rajawali. I feel like I've been ping ponging back and forth. Honestly I like both libraries, but I've got to use the one that works for most people, and at this time that'd be Rajawali..

Stay tuned...

Horrendous bug monster.

Argh!

I've encountered a horrendous bug monster. I'm going to try to completely redo the live wallpaper back end, because it's crashing for some people and making them very, very unhappy.

I think today is going to be a long, long day.

Fixing bugs!

So, there are some bugs with the new engine. I'm working them out and trying to fix them ASAP! :-)

Liquid Lines + Liquidity have been updated.

Yay!

The live preview isn't totally perfect yet - but I figure for now it is good enough to release to people. I am continuing to work on the issues with it, though. I'm also working on moving Kaleidoscope over to the new engine today!

I'm also contemplating creating a github for the existing libgdx livewallpaper extension that I updated, so that other people can use it to develop wallpapers as well. The more the merrier :-)

Liquid Lines update day!

Yay!

I finally got my new base working for my shader live wallpapers, it even has a live preview mode. I'm going to *at least* release the update for Liquid Lines, and then I will begin working on converting Liquidity and Kaleidoscope as well. I am very excited. Thank you all for your patience!

Also, I will be doing a post on how I create my live wallpapers with LibGdx as soon as I have some extra free time.

One last bug...

Hooray!

I only have one last bug to fix before I can start pushing out updates for my live wallpapers. Unfortunately, I'm not currently sure why the bug is happening, but I'm investigating today! Will keep posted...

VERY Excited about updates that I'll be releasing within the week!

Unfortunately, these updates have been taking me longer than expected. I balance dressmaking and Android development, and most of the time it takes up far more than the normal 40 or so hours a week. I also have to admit that changing from the Rajawali engine to Libgdx has been quite tricky, but I've just completed the first prototype for testing. It won't take much longer to release updates for ALL of my live wallpapers sans Wisp Glitter.

Patience please!

I am working very hard to get these updates out for ALL of my shader wallpapers. I'm currently moving them over to a new engine (back to libgdx for me!) which should fix all of the crashing problems etc.

Android updates are coming! I promise!

Yep! There will be a new settings interface, and crash fixes - but not until I finish all of my dress orders for customers. Unfortunately I am positively SWAMPED this week, so updates will probably not be here until perhaps Sunday if things all go as planned.

Thanks for your patience everyone :-)

Working on crash fixes + new settings interface!

Hooray!

Today I am working on a new settings interface for all of my shader apps. The way they are done now is quick to implement, but some users are having problems with it AND it isn't very easy for me to customize. Therefore, I am going back to the style I used in "Wisp Glitter" and I'm also adding live background updating of the wallpaper as you make changes! It's very exciting!

Stay tuned...
